Microsoft has gone into further detail about the enigmatic trailer it showcased at E3 2013 with the upcoming Halo game for the Xbox One, saying that it wanted to offer just the basic info about the new title, like the fact that it stars Master Chief and is a first-person shooter running at 60fps.

Microsoft's E3 2013 press conference had plenty of impressive moments, but by far one of the biggest was a teaser trailer for the next Halo game on the Xbox 360.

While the game isn't officially called Halo 5, Microsoft's Phil Spencer revealed to IGN that the company only wanted to offer the basic details about it, so that there won't be any rumors.

Spencer highlights that the new Halo is a first-person shooter running at 60 frames-per-second and that it will star Master Chief.

The Xbox One title will appear in 2014 but, until then, fans will have to play the waiting game.
