Halo: The Master Chief Collection is not yet in the best possible shape and the development team at 343 Industries is announcing that it has prepared a new patch for the shooter, which at the moment is set to be launched at some point during next week and will improve core mechanics and the user interface.

An official announcement on the forums explains that the certification process is still ongoing and that a clear launch date and more details, including full patch notes, will be offered once it has been completed by Microsoft.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will also be getting more Achievements for the Spartan Ops game mode and for other multiplayer modes, and all of them will be live at some point in the next 24-hour period.

343 Industries also states, "Improving your experience with Halo: The Master Chief Collection remains our top priority, and we thank you for your continued feedback and reports on community forums and elsewhere as we prioritize updates for each CU."

The studio is mentioning multiple content updates for the game, which means that it will continue to support the shooter in the long term, probably aiming to get to a point where the community no longer has any complaints about the core modes.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is overshadowed by Halo 5

At the moment, most of the resources of 343 Industries are focused on the beta phase of Halo 5: Guardians, which is showing off some of the changes that are being made to the mechanics of the long-running series.

The community has been delivering plenty of feedback, and in the coming two weeks more maps and more modes will be revealed, with the studio saying that all reactions will be taken into account in the coming months, as the finishing touches are made to the title.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection was in rough shape when it was launched in November and since then updates have improved the experience, although more work is still needed.

343 Industries has revealed that it will offer rewards to all those who played the title despite its problems.
