14 DAY TRIAL // In a strange turn of events, the folks over at 343 Industries announced the expected Halo: The Master Chief Collection patch and the beta for Xbox Preview members has been indefinitely postponed.
According to developers, they need extra time for the update, which is supposed to contain important changes to Matchmaking search time, Match search success and Lobby / Party functionality.
“As this update contains the biggest changes to the Matchmaking system yet, we’ve identified that additional time and testing is required, and we are currently evaluating both timing and need for a CU beta with the Xbox One Preview program, as well as the final public release date in February. We’ll continue to provide the latest updates here on Waypoint,” say devs in a blog post.
343 Industries thanks all those who provided feedback through various social networks, on issues they have encountered in the game, and they promise to continue to take this feedback into consideration as they prioritize fixes within the update schedule.
The most important update for the game has yet to receive a release date
Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been quite a mess since its release last year and none of the updates provided managed to change it.
Developer 343 Industries hopes to make the game work this month by delivering a new patch that will be first tested by members of Xbox Preview program.
The next update is of utmost importance for Halo: The Master Chief Collection because the changes announced by 343 Industries are meant to greatly enhance gameplay experience.
