Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been in rough shape since it was launched and the development team at 343 Industries continues to deliver updates for the video game, with the most recent of them weighing in at 543 MB and set to introduce a wide range of changes, most of them linked to the matchmaking system.

The official announcement from the studio states, “This particular content update addresses a number of matchmaking issues, fixes various bugs related to UI and the party system, and also improves overall stability.  While this update contains a variety of improvements, we continue to work on additional content updates that will be rolled out to address further issues that you have called out.”

A full list of the changes can be seen in the list attached to this article.

343 Industries claims that the new matchmaking changes are designed to make it easier for the various players to find partners for all the modes and playlists, with more info offered to them about the progress they are making.

When it comes to custom, lobby and party games, the community should see improved stability and better display for all player attributes.

The Zealot Achievement for Halo: The Master Chief Collection should also be unlockable now for all gamers and the general stability of the title should be improved.

343 Industries says that more updates are on the way in order to make other areas of the game better, but at the moment, no estimated time of arrival is offered for any of them.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is an ambitious but flawed title

The new Halo video game allows fans of the franchise to experience the first four titles in the series with updated graphics and better gameplay.

343 Industries says that it wanted to create an experience that would appeal to both veterans and newcomers, but the scope of the game meant that many features could not be tested in a live environment before it was delivered to the Xbox One.

Bonnie Ross, the leader of the studio, has already apologized for the launch problems and has said that gamers might be compensated in the near future, although no specific details on the matter were offered.

Those who bought Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be able to access the beta testing period for Halo 5: Guardians, which will be offered on December 29 and will run for a three-week period, with a selection of maps and modes.
