The development team at 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are announcing that they are planning to deliver extra content for Halo: The Master Chief Collection as soon as possible and are offering fans a first look at what the ODST campaign and the Anniversary map Relic will look like on the Xbox One home console.

The official Halo Waypoint update explains that the two companies have been making solid progress on the porting and adaptation process.

They add, "Additionally, our test and community teams have been running daily playtests on Relic to hammer on the map as much as possible. As we finish things up, we’ll be sharing much more and providing details on launch dates soon."

Both ODST and Relic are designed to be offered for free to those gamers who have played Halo: The Master Chief Collection on launch because they supported the title when it was not offering the quality that the community was expecting from it.

343 Industries is also announcing that it is planning to introduce another big update for the shooter in April, which will be designed to improve the server side of the title in order to make sure that it is easier to offer updates in the future.

The studio is also saying that the recent patch has been successful when it comes to the improvement of matchmaking and that all fans should be able to get into matches faster than before.

343 Industries is also saying that it wants to offer improvement for Halo: The Master Chief Collection for years.

Halo 5: Guardians is also a focus for the development team

The state that Halo: The Master Chief Collection was on launch means that the developers need to move as fast as possible to improve the overall game experience and to add new content.

But most of the resources of the company are associated with Halo 5: Guardians, which is expected to be offered on the Xbox One in the fall of this year and will introduce major changes to the multiplayer while also adding a single-player campaign focused on Master Chief.

343 Industries has also recently announced that it plans to deliver four new books linked to the franchise in 2015, which will offer new perspectives on the game world and the main factions.
