14 DAY TRIAL // After confirming Halo: Spartan Assault yesterday, Microsoft has just posted a brand new set of impressive screenshots from the new game that's set to appear next month for Windows 8 PCs and tablets, as well as Windows Phone 8 handsets.
The Halo franchise is being taken to new directions and developer 343 Industries, together with Vanguard Games, has just revealed Halo: Spartan Assault, a top-down shooter set in the Halo universe, bridging the events between Halo 3 and Halo 4.
Fans heard the first details yesterday, and now a set of even more screenshots has been made available by 343.
As you can see, the action is looking pretty good and players will be able to control Commander Sarah Palmer as well as Spartan Davis aboard the UNSC Infinity as they fight in all new battles against the Covenant.
Halo: Spartan Assault will be released in July for PCs and tablets powered by Windows 8, as well as for smartphones powered by Windows Phone 8.
