This year's San Diego Comic-Con played host to a lot of video game-related content, among which the first look at the upcoming Halo: Nightfall live-action series.

Halo developer 343 Industries together with Scott Free Productions gave attendees a first look at the original live-action series produced by Ridley Scott and set to release on Novemeber 11 on Xbox.

The series is meant to serve as an origin story for Agent Locke, a new characters that will play a big role in the events of Halo 5: Guardians, showing the legendary manhunter Jameson Locke and his team caught in a terrorist attack while investigating suspect activity on the distant colony world of Sedra.

The Office of Naval Intelligence agents, led by Locke, are forced by circumstances to coordinate their efforts with a Sedran commander with a remarkable mistrust of the ONI, as the plot unfolds and a mysterious and ancient artifact is discovered.

They are forced to fight for their lives, and ultimately choose between their loyalties and their very survival.
