A bigger story reveal is coming during E3 2015

Developer 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are continuing to offer a sort of prologue to the story of Halo 5: Guardians using the Hunt the Truth promotion, giving fans of the series details about the state of the world as the new Master Chief adventure is about to start.

The new audio diary shows Benjamin Giraud in pretty deep trouble, and it seems that a deep rift is opening in the heart of the UNSC.

ONI is determined to make Master Chief the villain, and a rebel force that wants to show the truth about the characters and the events he is involved in is trying to deliver its side of the story.

The reporter visits a glassed world and finds more information about the Biko incident and the way the truth can be used to take down an entire organization.

The production value of Hunt the Truth is high as always, and Microsoft has promised that a bigger story reveal will take place during the E3 2015 event.

Halo 5: Guardians is a story focused on two characters

343 Industries has been talking about the single-player element of the series, but it has not given fans actual information about how it will be structured.

The two live-action trailers released earlier in the year show the same situation from the perspective of both Master Chief and new character Agent Locke.

This suggests that Halo 5: Guardians will be focused on showing how different perspectives influence our perceptions, but it's unclear what effect that will have on the gameplay.

Core multiplayer elements for the shooter were tested earlier in the year in a special beta period, with 343 Industries currently using the data and the feedback it has gathered in order to improve the core ideas.

Spartans have a range of new abilities, with all of them designed to make sure that battles are more dynamic and engaging.

The development team has promised that gamers will be able to disable all of them in custom matches to get a purer take on the core mechanics of the franchise.

There are no plans to test multiplayer elements again before the launch of the shooter.

Halo 5: Guardians will be out on October 27 and will be offered only on the Xbox One.
