Video game publisher Microsoft and GAME are announcing that they are working together to launch two versions of the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians, which will only be offered by the store chain, either online or in its brick and mortar locations.

Gamers can now place a pre-order for any of them if they are interested in the extra content included and the cool look of the two packages.

Halo 5: Guardians is getting a Limited Edition at GAME, which will cost 79.99 British Pounds, the equivalent of about 100 dollars (90 Euro), and will include a range of digital content and an interesting steel book for the disk.

The much pricier Limited Collector's Edition for the first-person shooter has everything mentioned above and a commemorative statue.

GAME does not say whether the figure is based on Master Chief or his nemesis Agent Locke.

The Limited Collector's Edition for Halo 5: Guardians is priced at 199.99 British Pounds, which is the equivalent of about 250 dollars (230 Euro).

It's unclear whether this is a one-time deal or if a bigger number of video game stores will get special versions of the shooter in the coming months, available for those who want to get a range of extra content for it.

Halo 5: Guardians is one of the biggest launches of the year

The new title will be the first one created from the ground up for the new home console from Microsoft, which allows 343 Industries to introduce a range of improvements for both single and multiplayer.

The story of the new Halo will make Agent Locke an important character, and it seems that gamers will have to evaluate two perspectives on the past of Master Chief.

There are also new Spartan teams featured on the official cover of the game that will have an important part to play.

When it comes to multiplayer, gamers will be able to explore new abilities for their characters, including the controversial sprinting.

343 Industries has said that it is currently making a lot of changes to the core features based on the feedback that was gathered during the beta that took place early in 2015.

Halo 5: Guardians is set to arrive on October 27 all over the world, only on the Xbox One.
