Microsoft kicked off its E3 2015 press event with arguably its biggest game of the year, Halo 5: Guardians, which is coming to the Xbox One in October. A full-fledged gameplay presentation video for its all-new Warzone multiplayer mode is also available.

Halo 5: Guardians is this fall's big Xbox One exclusive, and Microsoft is determined to make sure that any and all gamers know about the impressive first-person shooter.

After having shared quite a lot of story and gameplay details earlier this month, at E3 2015, Microsoft and developer 343 Industries have brought forth an actual gameplay presentation video.

Single-player demonstration showcases great visuals

In the footage, available below, an explosive sequence showcasing Agent Locke and his team of Spartans is depicted. They reach an alien planet that's already been destroyed in some impressive ways, and while their goal is to find Master Chief and his own Blue Team, they have to fight an array of enemies.

Impressive visuals, intense visual effects, and quite a few great shooter mechanics are presented, not to mention lots of uses of Spartan abilities like slam.

Agent Locke can give different orders to his fireteam, which are essential in dealing with groups of enemies.

343 Industries promises that Halo 5: Guardians will deliver "epic worlds, epic battles, and epic scale," thanks to the Xbox One platform.

Warzone multiplayer mode brings many possibilities

At the same time, the developer also presented the Warzone multiplayer mode that's included in Halo 5: Guardians, which should allow players access to all sorts of possibilities in terms of map and mode creation. Check it out the mode that bridges together PvP and PvE in action in the video below.

Halo 5: Guardians launches exclusively for the Xbox One on October 27, around the world. Expect to see and hear much more about the intense shooter in the months to come.
