The Master Chief Collection will continue to get updates

The development team at 343 Industries might have a lot of data to analyze after the massive Halo 5: Guardians beta period, but the company is also continuing to work on Halo: The Master Chief Collection and wants to make sure that the title remains engaging for players in the long term.

The new Halo Bulletin offers five minutes of updates about the entire franchise, with a new guest host, Andy Dudynsky, aka Bravo, who offers info on the competitive side of the game and the events the community can look forward to.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will get plenty more updates in the coming months, designed both to make it easier for players to join matches and to expand the range of content that’s offered to the fan community.

It seems that 343 Industries is determined to atone for the less than perfect launch of the game, which was supposed to be a big hit for the Xbox One in 2015 but was affected by a range of issues.

More than 20 million matches were played in the Halo 5: Guardians and the development team says that all those involved are expected to go to the official forums and to continue offering information on the maps they loved and the way they dealt with the new mechanics.

The Hydra weapon is also featured in the footage, with the team showing some of the best kills that were executed using it and explaining the best way to use it to support a team that’s on the offensive.

The future of Halo is linked to that of the Xbox One

Halo 5 is very important because it is the first game in the series that is created entirely for the Xbox One, designed to use all its new hardware power and features.

343 Industries introduced a range of changes to the beta program that ran for three weeks, including the very controversial sprinting, and now it needs to use all the feedback it has received and the data it has gathered to improve the title.

Guardians also has a complex single-player campaign, with limited details offered so far by the developers, which will involve Master Chief but will also feature new characters, like Agent Locke from Nightfall.
