Tomb Raider creative director Tim Longo is now working with 343 Industries, following his departure from Crystal Dynamics.

The transition was confirmed by Longo's LinkedIn account. As Halo 5 is currently in the works at 343 Industries, it is safe to assume Longo's involvement with the project, especially considering the game's former creative director has been promoted to the role of executive producer, according to his LinkedIn page.

Halo 5 was unveiled by 343 Industries earlier this year during the E3 convention, and will be the second main title in the series developed by the studio, as reported by CVG.

The game is scheduled for a yet-undisclosed 2014 release, exclusively for the Xbox One, and according to 343 Industries' Bonnie Ross, the new installment will be enhanced by cloud computing and will run at a "blistering 60 frames per second."

A Halo launch title for the Xbox One was considered, but Microsoft decided to develop Halo 4 for Xbox 360 instead, according to Microsoft Studios boss Phil Spencer, at internal Halo studio 343 Industries.

Square Enix has announced that Crystal Dynamics are also working on a next-gen Tomb Raider title, and that the successor to the acclaimed title is well into development.
