Microsoft and 343 Industries have just confirmed that they're organizing a special Halo 4 multiplayer tournament this summer, and that the prizes offered reach a total worth of $500,000 (around €376,704).

Halo 4 came out last year on the Xbox 360 and, since then, fans have engaged in the game's many different multiplayer experiences.

After launching lots of DLC and updates, 343 Industries has just confirmed that this summer will see the reveal of the biggest Halo 4 tournament ever, with prizes worth $500,000 (€376,704).

The qualifiers for the event, according to Halo Waypoint, will be held at the Roster Teeth Expo in Austin, Texas, between July 5 and 7. Those who aren't going to the conference can register for online qualifications starting on July 1.

The tournament will be a Free-for-All competition, so fans are urged to start practicing right now.
