14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at 343 Industries announces that it has introduced an entirely new game mode to Halo 4 called Speed Slayer via a playlist that will only be offered today for true fans of the Master Chief-powered experience.
The company explains via Twitter that, “Today only, we've got a special edition 343 Day playlist that features a brand new game type: Speed Slayer. Head into #Halo4 to play!”
No details have so far been offered on the exact gameplay mechanics that Speed Slayer will use, with the developers probably aiming to deliver some surprises to the player community.
At the moment, 343 Industries continues to support the multiplayer side of Halo 4 while also working on a new title in the series for the Xbox One.
The game was teased during the announcement of the new Microsoft console, but since then, no information was offered about it or about a potential launch date.
