Fourth Halo to be the Halo Movie Game?

We've already been pleasantly shocked by the media phenomenon that Halo 3 has become and now there's another shocker coming our way. Turns out that Bungie just won't get enough and they intend to develop a fourth title in the Halo series, but this one won't be related to the famous trilogy.

Rumor has it that the game will be an adaption of Halo - The Movie, a possible prequel of the gaming series. Will the new title be launched on the future Xbox console, pushing it to the top in case it'll have problems with the sales? Will we see the return of Master Chief, in his early days? Only Bungie and Microsoft have the answer, but they might be doing things like great film producers are - creating two major titles at the same time and saving the last of them for later.

We've seen that happening in the case of the acclaimed Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest which was created at the same time with Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. It scares me to even think about a possible Halo 4, as its sales figures would be huge. Taking into consideration that Halo 4 seemed an utopia a couple of weeks ago, why not speculate and expect a potential port of Halo 3 on the PS3?

What graphical achievements can another Halo title bring? The movie will probably answer that, as the animation motion picture Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children did, in the case of the acclaimed FF series. It will also give us details about the plot of the upcoming title... We don't expect this mystery to be cleared in 2008 or 2009 for that matter. It's worth a long wait if the result is a quality title to make us all go Halo-maniacs again.
