Gamers who have picked up Halo 4 during its first day on sale are reporting that they are facing a variety of problems with the game servers, including inability to connect and erroneous reporting of various game and character stats.
The official response from the development team at 343 Industries reads, “We hear you and apologize for the inconvenience. The team is currently investigating the issue and this thread will provide updates as we work on a fix. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience.”
Halo 4 is one of the biggest launches of the year and big first-day sales probably mean that the official servers are getting hammered at the moment.
Halo 4 is the first high profile game for 343 Industries and the team will have to prove its mettle by moving fast to fix player reported issues.
