Halo 4 developer 343 Industries has just confirmed the different things included in the upcoming February 11 update for the game's multiplayer, revealing that Team Snipers and Team Objective playlists will be added to the online mode.

Halo 4's multiplayer mode has delighted many fans after they completed the single-player campaign, as developer 343 managed to bring all sorts of new experiences with each weekly playlist update.

After adding the long-awaited Team Doubles experience earlier this week, the studio has just revealed that on February 11 Halo 4's multiplayer will receive the Team Snipers playlist, complete with a Shotty Snipers variant, as well as the Team Objective playlist.

The new and improved Team Snipers playlist will see teams of four players try to rack up 60 kills using only their standard sniper rifles and nothing else. Check out the full list of settings for this new mode below, via the Halo Waypoint.

According to 343, the Shotty Snipers variant will appear in the Team Snipers playlist voting options and features several medium-sized maps like Haven, Abandon, and some Forge favorites. The studio also revealed a few of its sniper-related plans, confirming that new game types are coming.

"We’re in the process of building additional new Snipers game types that we’ll introduce in upcoming weeks. For those of you wondering about the duration of the Team Snipers playlist fear not – we plan on keeping it around for a while," the studio said.

Besides Team Snipers, the February 11 multiplayer update also brings the Team Objective mode.

"As if Snipers wasn’t enough to get you excited for the upcoming week, we’re also proud to announce the addition of Team Objective, which will group together 4 vs. 4 Team Regicide, Oddball and King of the Hill. The biggest changes you’ll see to these game types are that Complex Oddball has been removed, and instant respawn has been disabled for both KoTH and Oddball," 343 added.

Expect the multiplayer update to hit on February 11 alongside Episode 9 of the Halo 4: Spartan Ops co-op mode.
