Age of Empires II: HD is also going to be showcased

Microsoft has just revealed the array of demonstrations it's going to hold at PAX East in Boston this week, as attendants will be able to try out the Castle map pack DLC for Halo 4, the Maxim map pack for Gears of War: Judgment, as well as Age of Empires II: HD.

PAX East is set to feature a wide variety of video game developers and publishers, allowing them to set up different booths and demonstrations for regular gamers and fans.

The conference that starts today, March 22, in Boston, is also going to feature Microsoft, as the large company will bring playable demos for Halo 4's upcoming Castle map pack, for Gears of War: Judgment's Maxim map pack, as well as for various others downloadable games and for Age of Empires II: HD.

[admark=1]- Halo 4 - Castle Map Pack (First public playable opportunity)  The War Games Map Pass allows players to extend their gameplay experience with new locations and bonus content (2 unique helmets and an emblem) at a terrific value. The Castle Map Pack is the third of the series, offering larger, more open spaces, in three very different settings and map styles. Castle map pack introduces nine new achievements, three new maps, and a new "Castle DLC" playlist.

- Gears of War: Judgment - Maxim Map Pack (First public playable opportunity) Microsoft, Epic Games and Maxim are delivering even more adrenaline-fueled action to “Gears” fans with the upcoming post-launch release of two free, Maxim-sponsored multiplayer maps – Haven and Capitol – as well as a new mode called "Execution."

- Plus, we’re also planning on showing Xbox LIVE Arcade’s State of Decay, Max: Curse of the Brotherhood, Motocross Madness as well as some new Windows 8 and Windows Phone games.

- Age of Empires II: HD Edition

Microsoft is also going to host a special panel that talks about the past, present, and future of Halo 4's multiplayer mode, complete with some of the staff from developer 343 Industries.
