Sony teases the Halo fans again

No, there hasn't been a surprise launch of the long-awaited Halo 3 title, at least not on the PS3 console, so chill out. In case you were wondering, the video you're about to watch shows some sort of sacrilege: a Halo 3 trailer being played on a Playstation 3 console. While we're sure that Bungie Studios' hit title PS3 port would sell faster than a "collector's edition" of Lara Croft's undies, the chances to see such a game in the following years are one in a million.

Since the famous Tokyo Game Show is about to start, I'm not surprised to see rumors and trailers pouring, especially those that are Halo 3 - related. Could this be a practical joke pulled by the guys at the Sony kiosk from the Game Show or just a way to tease Microsoft and their rival console? The average noob gamer will probably be stunned by such a trailer, especially if he's never heard about Halo 3 being an Xbox 360 hit title (in case he's been living in a cave for the last year).

One week ago, a Sony UK employee edited Halo 3's Wikipedia page, badmouthing Bungie's masterpiece and now, instead of avoiding the delicate issue, they go out and show a Halo 3 trailer on a PS3. Are the Playstation's producers ready to surprise us with a new title or console, since they're so confident and keep teasing Halo 3 fans? This video reminds of the famous fake that made gamers go crazy: Halo 3 on PSP. It created a hysteria, but every PSP fan's dream crumbled when the word got out that the whole story was a charade.

Will we see the PS3 also showing Nintendo Wii trailer for an ultimate tease? How about the competition? Come on Microsoft, show some Heavenly Sword footage at your TGS kiosk, I dare you!
