As everybody is eagerly awaiting the third installment in the Halo series, some online stores decided to start pre-orders. All of you who want to be the first to own a copy of Bungies' first-person shooter have to go online and log on to Electronic Boutiques' or GameStops' website and place your pre-order.

The list opened
on November 1st so hurry, hurry! But first, know that you will need some money, US$ 5, 10 or 25. Three boxed versions of Halo are available. If you want to get the cheapest, but lacking in extra features, you will have to pay upfront some US$ 5. This down payment is required for the US$ 59.99 basic edition of the game.

If you would like to upgrade it to a superior version like the Collectors' Edition, you have to come up with US$10 for paying upfront. The final price for Halo3 Collectors' Edition is set at US$ 69.99. A luxury version for the more dedicated Halo fans is also available. This one is called The Legendary Edition and it will come in a 4 disk package including all the content of the Collectors' Edition plus an additional gift. Bungie, or Microsoft, or their marketing agency, God knows who, have come up with an interesting feature as they are giving away a Master Chief helmet replica with all Legendary Edition copies of Halo 3.

To place a pre-order for the Halo 3 Legendary Edition, you will have to cough up some US$ 25 and the final price of the pack will be US$ 100. Somebody will cash in big time on this game!
