If there's anything in this world, anything at all, that can't be Halo 3-customized... there's a comments column below, good luck filling it up with stuff that wouldn't go nice with Master Chief. Now, even if there was anything that wouldn't handle a Halo 3 customization, that's certainly NOT a racing car. And that's why the #40 car, racing in the Dover 400 Nextel Cup Series at Dover International Speedway on September 23rd, will feature an exclusive Halo 3-themed paint scheme.

Here's David Stremme, the CGRFS driver himself, saying a few: "I'm honored and excited to be running the 'Halo 3' car at Dover and can't wait to show off this awesome paint scheme," he said. "It's going to be a special experience when the car rolls off the truck for the first time at Dover - as a Halo fan, I'm thrilled."

OK, now maybe what you've read up until this point isn't all that exciting, but what we're about to share is literally going to fire up your engine: In addition to the special paint scheme in the Nextel Cup race on Sunday, the report reveals further on, Target and Microsoft are giving select drivers the chance to play "Halo 3," one of the most anticipated video games of all time, before it releases to the public.

Right, stop jumping around now, you might hit someone, or yourself, or the Xbox 360. Yup, the 360, you don't wanna break, 'cause there's a copy of Halo 3 out there that needs a home. Enough babbling already. Let's see what Target's officials had to say:

"Target is proud to partner with Microsoft to bring some 'Halo 3' excitement to Dover race fans before the much anticipated release date," said Target Senior Buyer, Troy Peterson. "We expect this to be one of our largest gaming releases ever."

They didn't provide enough information on how to get yourself over to the Dover 400 Nextel Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway on September 23rd, but you're smart enough and we trust you'll find your way to the event.
