Just as we approach the end of the multiplayer
Beta for
Halo 3,
Bungie has released the first screenshot of the Limited Edition pack. The game comes in three different packs on September 25: Legnedary Edition Disc 1, Legendary Edition disk 2 and Limited Edition. Here they are below:
Legendary Edition 1st disk (released in limited quantities and arriving in a highly collectible Spartan helmet, along with two bonus disks full of additional content):
-exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage and videos, including a HD "Making of Halo 3" documentary showcasing Bungie's studio work;
-other HD footage showing the creative design processes involved in developing the game;
-a look at some early game concepts and their evolution through the game's development (if you can believe that);
-audio-visual calibration tool, something that you've never seen for sure.
Legendary Edition 2nd disk:
-completely remastered cinematic material from Halo: Combat Evolved and
Halo 2, with developer commentaries and a featurette documenting a day in the life at Bungie;
-exclusive content from the creative minds behind Machinima artists Red vs. Blue and This Spartan Life;
-illuminating collection of original Halo 3 storyboard art from artist Lee Wilson, depicting key moments and pivotal scenes from the epic cinematic production of Halo.
The Limited Edition (pictured left) will include a sleek metal collector's case, the first bonus disk found in the Legendary Edition, a special Halo fiction and art book and an "audio-visual calibration tool," as 1UP reports, to help fans tweak up their settings for the perfect shooting experience.
You must be tired of all the Halo 3 news but rest assure, they will be rarer once the Beta is over and there won't be much to talk about until E3 this year. After that the game will be released and that'll be that. You won't need anyone telling you what it's all about, as you'll be experiencing everything first hand.
