A new four-hour miniseries is already scheduled to start airing on Hallmark Channel next summer. The cast includes hottie Tiffany Amber Thiessen, Eric Roberts and Faye Dunaway and shooting has began a few days ago in Los Angeles.
The new TV show, called 'Pandemic' can be easily classified into the category reserved for world disasters, being almost a classic tale of racing against the clock in order to save humanity from a spreading virus.
The first man to die of the unknown and deadly virus is a young man with flu-like symptoms who passes away on board of an airliner on route to LA from Australia. After the sexy doctor (Thiessen) realizes that this is no ordinary flu virus, she must travel around the world to find Patient Zero.
Meanwhile, the virus is spreading really fast and the only men who know about it and desperately try to fight it are the Governor of California (Dunaway) and the Mayor of Los Angeles (Roberts).
The cast is completed with French Stewart, who also plays a doctor, Bob Gunton (their boss), Vincent Spano, Bruce Boxleitner and Renee Taylor. The whole 'Pandemic' project goes under the direction of Armand Mastroiani.
