14 DAY TRIAL // There is some ominous rumors going on about Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, and they all have something to do with her marriage to Olivier Martinez. Despite the fact that the two have a baby together, there is said to be enough tension there to end their relationship.
The Daily News is saying the two are already living separately and that a divorce is at the moment inevitable. According to reports from insiders, the couple, who announced their engagement in 2012 and later married in July 2013 in France, are no longer living under the same roof.
As with many other Hollywood celebrity couples that have said their goodbyes over the years, the main cause for the impeding split is their hectic work schedule. While Halle Berry is busy at the moment working on her new CBS series called “Extant,” which is filming in Los Angeles, Martinez is working on “Revenge,” in a guest-star role for the show that airs on ABC.
For those of you not keeping count, it's been months since these two have been spotted together, which is very odd, considering that they used to be the darlings of the LA paparazzi. This should serve as some form of proof the couple are no longer seeing eye to eye.
To make matters worse, Berry was spotted without her wedding ring when she attended a post-Oscars party as a special guest. Again, she appeared alone at the event where Martinez was nowhere to be seen.
This should be very bad news for their son, Maceo, who was born in 2013, because it pretty much means that his parents are getting a divorce. Berry also has a 6-year-old daughter by the name of Nahla, from her previous relationship with male model Gabriel Aubry.
But love is not the only field where Halle is struggling to make ends meet. There are also reports coming in from her latest project in which she starred, “X Men: Days of Future Past.” In the movie, Berry plays the mutant who has control over the weather, Storm, but insiders are saying that her time on screen was drastically cut.
Because she was pregnant at the time filming was going on, producers had to limit her time on screen, but it's now being revealed that they almost cut her out of the movie. “She only has one line in the whole movie. They’re not telling her until the movie comes out,” says an insider with the project.
Of course, this would not be a first, as fellow actress and co-star on the film, Anna Paquin, who plays Rogue, was also cut out of the film for reasons related to the overall length of the film.
