Halle Berry has been rushed to the hospital after she fell and hit her head on the concrete while shooting scenes for her latest movie in Los Angeles. A rep says she'll be back to work in no time.

Reports online suggest that Halle was shooting some sort of fight scene when she fell and hit her head on the concrete.

Producers called 911 for an ambulance immediately, not wanting to take any chances, even though the star seemed in good condition despite the bump.

People magazine notes that Berry was discharged after a proper checkup, with her publicist saying she'll be back to work in almost no time.

“The Oscar winner, 45, was rushed to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Tuesday night after she hit her head while filming her latest movie – and she has since been released, her rep confirms to People,” the celebrity magazine reports.

“Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, The Hive,” says Berry's publicist in a statement.

“She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned,” the rep adds.

In September last year, Halle broke her foot but, contrary to reports online, she wasn't shooting for “The Hive” at that moment: she was actually on a day off from work.

In other Halle Berry news, the actress is still fighting her ex Gabriel Aubry, the father of her only daughter Nahla, in court for custody.

Last we heard, she still planned on moving to France with Nahla and her fiancé Olivier Martinez, whom she started dating shortly after her romance with the model went bust.

They became engaged in January this year, with Halle saying some time ago that, even though she'd promised never to marry again (she's already a two-times divorcée), she never expected to fall in love again.

“Who knew? I swore [marriage] off, right? Never say never, people!” she said in an interview with Extra in April.
