What do you do when you have a film to shoot and you are supposed to film two Hollywood stars having sex, but one of the stars can't make it to the set? It's kinda funny but you just film one of the stars, alone, in bed, faking a sexual act and later on you put the other star alone, in the same bed with the recordings of the first star faking sex to fake taking part at the already printed sex scene. Later on you mix the two stars in post-production.

It's neither a joke, nor science-fiction.
This has actually happened to Bruce Willis and Halle Berry. The two celebrities were supposed to take part both in a sex scene during the shooting of the movie Perfect Stranger.

As both of them are very busy actors, director James Foley decided to shoot the two of them separately: first Willis, than Berry.

So when it came to Berry to be physically involved with Willis she had to... to writhe around on a bed while the crew played a tape recording of Willis' voice. That's outstanding given the fact poor Berry didn't even get a Bruce Willis stand in...

Someone from the set told the story of the making of that special sequence: "Halle wasn't fazed performing solo. Although she, in effect, keeps her hands to herself, she is very convincing indeed in the love scenes."

According to Hollywood.com Bruce Willis recently revealed he found himself blinded by Berry's beauty while making the film: "I get all awkward. She's beautiful. It's almost like looking at an eclipse of the sun. You have to take a pin and poke it through a card and look at her through that. "
