In Half-Life, players assume the role of Dr. Gordon Freeman, a recently graduated theoretical physicist who must fight his way out of a secret underground research facility whose research and experiments into teleportation technology have gone wrong. On its release, critics hailed its overall presentation and numerous scripted sequences, and it won over 50 Game of the Year awards in 1998-99. CHEATS

Load game with the command line: hl.exe -dev -toconsole. Then, press ~ if the orange text on the screen does not disappear. During gameplay, press ~ to display the text prompt and type in sv_cheats 1. Press ~ and enter one of the following console commands to activate the corresponding cheat function.
