Half-Life 2 Mod! Wow!

Even if he won't get to play Half-Life 2: Episode Two until the summer, a Half-Life 2 fanatic has modded his Xbox 360 in the Half-Life 2 spirit. bit-tech.net has the news and from what I can see, this mod looks spectacular.

In order to get the desired look, the modder has cut a big whole in his 360 and covered it with a piece of Plexiglas. Now, you see the "guts" of the Xbox 360
which have also been slightly modified to match the overall look of the console. He used a black rubber garnish to link the Plexiglas to the consoles, and it looks great. It gives you the feeling of an old submarine.

The paint job is also spectacular, sticking with the whole old submarine look. All I can say about this mod is: how much do you want for it? It is the first Xbox 360 mod I've seen that doesn't suck, but I'm curious to see if it makes the console nosier. Maybe this a desperate cry on behalf of the modder for Half-Life 2 to come out on the Xbox 360 sooner. The sooner, the better I say!

Recently, came the word that Half-Life 2: Episode Two will be released in the summer of 2007, with no further explanations. I'm sure you have seen the Episode Two teaser trailer, as it was included in Episode One and it can be unlocked once you complete the game. You can also download it via Steam for free, or if you are a somewhat computer literate, you can access it directly from the game files.
