Valve's debut title, Half-Life, sold millions of copies all over the world. By taking the suspense, challenge and visceral charge of the original, and adding startling new realism and responsiveness, Half-Life 2 opens the door to a world where the player's presence affects everything around him, from the physical environment to the behaviors even the emotions of both friends and enemies.

The player again picks up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa. And a lot of people he cares about are counting on him.

Half-Life 2 is the game to play for every shooter fan out there. Gordon's journey may sometimes prove too long and harsh. That's what cheat codes are for - to make you enjoy your game even in hard times. Here's the list of cheat codes along with NPC, maps and weapons lists. The codes are entered at the console. To bring up the console just press tilde "~" during gameplay. All you got to do now is type in your desire.

sv_cheats 1 - Activates Cheats

ai_disable - Toggles enemy AI on/off
air_density #no - Change the density of air. (Add number in place of #no)
buddha - Health never goes below 1
ch_createairboat - Makes an airboat
ch_createjeep - Make a jeep
cl_drawhud 0 - Toggles HUD off.
cl_drawhud 1 - Toggle HUD display On
cl_enablehud 0 - Toggles HUD off.
cl_enablehud 1 - Toggle HUD display On
cl_ragdoll_collide 1 - Enables ragdolls that don't clip through each other, but stack up
cl_showfps 1 - Shows FPS Rate
cl_showpos 1/0 - brings up/ removes position display in top right of screen
crosshair 0 - Disables Crosshair
Developer 0/1/2 - Sets developer mode to on/off/verbose
dsp_explosion_effect_duration #no - Set length of confusion/ear-ringing effect
exec #filename - Execute a script file
firstperson - First Person View
getpos - can be used to get current coords for use with setpos
give #weapon - Give weapon (see the list below)
give item_ammo_357 - Spawns ammo for the .357 magnum
give item_ammo_ar2 - Spawns primary fire ammo for the Overwatch Pulse Rifle
give item_ammo_ar2_altfire - Spawns energy grenade for the Overwatch Pulse Rifle
give item_ammo_crossbow - Spawns ammo for the crossbow
give item_ar2_grenade - Spawns grenades for the submachine gun
give item_battery - Increases suit charge by 15 points.
give item_box_buckshot - Spawns shells for the 12-gauge shotgun
give item_box_mrounds - Spawns primary fire ammo for the submachine gun
give item_box_srounds - Spawns ammo for the 9mm pistol
give item_rpg_round OR give item_ml_grenade - Spawns grenades for the RPG
give item_suit - Gives you the HEV Suit
God - God Mode
help #command - Brief description of the #command
host_timescale #no - Changes the speed of the game (#no < 1 = slower, #no > 1 = faster).
hud_quickhelp/text? 1 - Shows Crosshairs
Hurtme #no - Damages player by whatever variable you input as #no
impulse 101 - All Weapons
impulse 203 - Removes the item or NPC pointed at
impulse 76 - Grunt-O-Matic
impulse 82 - Spawn a Jeep
impulse 83 - Spawn an Air Boat
item_healthkit - Gives you the large health kit (25HP)
item_healthvial - Gives you the small health vial (10HP)
Kill - You die.

mat_depthbias_normal 1 - See through walls
mat_fullbright 1/0 - removes/restores all shadows

prop_debug - Toggle bounding-boxes debug mode on/off red
r_screenoverlay effects/combine_binocoverlay.vmt - Gives you combined vision during gameplay.
r_screenoverlay effects/tp_eyefx/tp_eyefx.vmt - Gives you strange vision during gameplay.
setang - Snap players eyes to a specified pitch yaw
setpos - Move player to specified origin
shake - Creates an earthquake.
