We've seen lots of robots, or things that are supposed to be robots but really aren't, and Hajime Research has just released a video of something that qualifies as the former (mostly).
This time around, though, we aren't looking at a robotic roach, but at something more humanoid.
Only humanoid, though, not human-like. Not at all.
After all, not only does it move in a very interesting fashion, that we, of bone and flesh would be hard-pressed to imitate (especially the head movements, I mean look at those intense motions), but it is a bit too tall for the human-like attribute.
In all seriousness, though, this is just the skeleton for a Gundam suit that should even have a cockpit when finished.
The creature is roughly 13-feet tall, which is the same as 3.96 meters.
Hajime Sakamoto, the president of Hajime Research, wants to build some smaller ones as well, but the ultimate project is a 59-foot bot (17.98 meters), full-size Gundam suit, assuming he gets the funding.
