The website of Midwest Supplies, a Minneapolis-based home brewing and winemaking supplies provider, was hacked on June 13, 2013. The company is preparing to notify impacted customers.

According to DataBreaches, the company discovered the breach only on July 19.

In a letter submitted to the California Attorney General’s Office, the company’s president, David Kidd, reveals that the cybercriminals gained access to customer names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers, expiration dates, and CVVs.

“As soon as we discovered the breach, we took immediate measures to resolve the situation and are satisfied that it is, in fact, resolved. We conducted a full investigation and have taken extensive steps to prevent it from happening again,” Kidd noted in the letter that’s about to be sent out to impacted individuals.

It’s uncertain at this time how many individuals have been affected by the breach. However, the company is not offering them free credit monitoring services. Instead, victims are given $25 (€19) coupons.
