The hackers plan on launching DDOS attacks against his website

The controversial Dutch politician and MP Geert Wilders is once again in the spotlight after releasing anti-Islam stickers that read, “Islam is a lie. Mohammed is a crook. The Quran is poison.”

Anonymous-affiliated hackers have already set their sights on Wilders’ website, geertwilders.nl. They’re apparently planning on launching a distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) against it.

They’ve posted a link to a web-based DDOS tool that anyone can use to launch an attack against the politician’s site.

Currently, Wilders’ website appears to be working properly. However, that might change if enough hackers join the attack.

Many Dutch officials have condemned the anti-Islam stickers. On the other hand, Wilders argues that his intention is not to hurt people, but “to shock.”

“Only when the Muslim world realizes this truth, they will be able to free themselves from the evil itself, and the world will be a better and safer place for all people,” Wilders said.

Update. The hackers managed to disrupt the politician's website on December 21.
