Colombian Hackers have taken credit for the attack

Colombian Hackers claim to have taken down the official website of Colombia’s National Police (policia.gov.co). At the time of writing, the website displays a message that reads: “Can’t contact the web server. Try again later.”

The hackers haven’t provided any explanation to why they’ve disrupted the website. They simply said, “National Police, on the floor!”

On the other hand, it’s difficult to verify their claims. The website could very well be down for some other reason. Colombian National Police representatives haven’t said anything about the downtime on their Twitter account, despite the fact that several tweets have been posted since the site went offline.

At the end of August, Colombian Hackers hijacked the official Twitter account of Francisco Estupiñan (@FcoEstupinan), the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Colombia.
