The leaked data doesn't appear to belong to Turkish officials

Hackers of the China Blue Army, a collective associated with Group Hp-Hack, claim to have breached the official website of Turkey’s Parliament, or the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (global.tbmm.gov.tr).

The hackers leaked a document containing the email addresses, names and passwords of around 45 individuals.

However, the leak is suspicious. None of the email addresses from the list appear to belong to Turkish citizens.

In addition, they don’t look like official government email addresses. Take for instance the email address of one Rob Martinson, which is “[email protected].”

Several hacker collectives are taking part in OpTurkey. One of them is the Syrian Electronic Army, whose members say that although they have no connection to Anonymous, they support the Turkish people.

The Syrian Electronic Army has targeted the systems of the Prime Minister and the ones of the Ministry of Interior.

Update. China Blue Army and Group Hp-Hack are believed to be connected to a hacker or hacker group that's known for fake hacks. Security expert Janne Ahlberg has published an interesting blog post on the topic and Cyber War News is constantly monitoring their activity in an effort to prove they're fake.
