Hackers of the TeamBerserk group claim to have breached the systems of CITIC Telecom International, a major Hong Kong-based telecoms company.

According to Cyber War News, the hackers have published a file containing over 2,500 records comprising usernames, email addresses, password hashes and other user details.

Information on servers and MySQL databases has also been leaked.

The details published by the hackers appear to be legitimate. However, we’ve reached out to CITIC Telecom International in hope that they can provide some additional clarifications.

We’ll update this post in case they respond to our inquiry.

Back in May, TeamBerserk claimed to have breached the systems of the Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST). At the time, HITRUST representatives confirmed for Softpedia that the hackers did in fact breach one of their servers.

However, they noted that the breached machine was a “non-critical, standalone public web server.”
