Hackers of the NullCrew collective are back. They claimed to have breached the systems of Bell Canada. The details of thousands of users have been leaked online.

“Go [expletive] figure, people who are supposed to provide secure connection to the internet? They can't secure themselves,” the hackers wrote next to the data leaked on the group's website.

There are tens of thousands of pieces of information, including usernames, email addresses, passwords, and even some credit card data. Cyber War News has analyzed the data and found that there are credentials which appear to be associated with various Bell services.

I’ve sent an email to Bell Media to see if they can provide any clarifications regarding the incident. I’ll update this post if they respond to my inquiry.

Update. Bell Canada has confirmed that the leaked data belongs to its customers, but the company says its own systems have not been hacked.
