It's not sure if the leaked file is genuine, but we may soon find out

A few days ago we’ve heard of a complaint being filled at a California court in which Symantec was accused of commercializing useless products that scare consumers into thinking their computers were full of errors.

After hearing about the case, the Indian hacker Yama Tough published the Norton Utilities source code with a dedication for the plaintiff.

“Mr.Gross pass it on to forensics and win the lawsuit. Enjoy everybody Norton Utilities,” wrote the hacker on Twitter.

Norton Utilities is one of the products involved in the lawsuit, being named by James Gross as inefficient in performing the tasks it’s advertised for.

Yama Tough, on the other hand, is the Indian hacker who not long ago published the controversial memo that claimed mobile phone manufacturers were helping India spy on the US and a source code that Symantec confirmed to be the one behind some of their products.

The file posted online by the hacker has been removed, but we may find out soon if it is legitimate, once the trial starts.
