A hacker that uses the online moniker Ag3nt47 claims to have breached the official website of the New York Division of Military and Naval Affairs (dmna.ny.gov).

He has leveraged an SQL Injection vulnerability (which still hasn’t been fixed) to gain access to the site’s databases. To demonstrate that he has breached the site, the hacker has leaked some information, including administrator details.

“I keep most of the leak for myself. I don't release a lot. Just enough to prove I breached them. They can just guess what else was stolen,” the hacker told me.

Ag3nt47 says he has targeted the site because he “dislikes anything that’s related to the government.”

“I dislike the fact my government is so damn corrupt. I dislike how our soldiers hurt innocent people,” he noted.

“I seen that this site was related to those types of things. So it felt good attacking it,” he added.

“My government spies on us, Edward Snowden is my hero for telling the truth. I spied on them today and released their data. So that's a small win for the small guy. I hate the NSA a whole lot as well.”
