Hacha continues its kick a*s manoeuvre by popping out one funky portable media player after another. Still, not only does it change the names, the design line of the new devices, but also the specs list that are becoming more and more complex, adapting to our society's needs. The new comer on the electronic company portfolio was dubbed PC18, with no connection whatsoever to the previous player.

When it comes for the PC18's design patterns, the media player can be considered a breath of fresh air in the industry, as it reveals a nice 2.8 inch screen with a QVGA 320 x 240 pixels resolution and a cool on board memory of a generous 8GB maximum.

As for its media capabilities, the portable device is said to be able to deal with a lot of file formats in the industry, such as AVI, FLV, MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC, APE and JPG, BMP, GIF, meaning it can do both video and audio playback, as well as photo slide shows. However, it also gives the owner the possibility to read TXT file formats, acting like a natural born e-Book reader, with the only minor issue regarding the screen size.

There are also a couple of extra features that will do just great in case you might need a little bit more entertainment on the go, offering the chance to switch on the integrated FM radio and more. Since USB 2.0 is just the file transfer interface every respectable PMP in the industry should be enhanced with, this one also uses this type for better file transfer management.

And if all this has made you wish for one of those cool music items, you'd better search for it at online retailers, where a 4GB such device sells for about 80 bucks a pop!
