A minor build for HWiNFO (for both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows) has just been released today. The new version number is 4.06 and besides adding support for new sensors, it also integrates fixes for a set of nagging problems.

It brings to the table enhanced sensor monitoring on ASRock Z77, Z75, H77, B75, Q77, H71M and A75 series, as well as on Gigabyte’s F2A85 series. The new release provides preliminary support for Nuvoton NCT6791D sensor and includes reporting of SATA AHCI/RAID controller and per-port information under PCI host device.

The most significant problems that have been addressed in this revision include reporting of current memory clock on AMD Trinity.

Additional modifications are the removal of the driver management tool from the package, this functionality now being available in the configuration panel. On the same note, the history file has been moved to the news section.
