Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has started pushing out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform update to the owners of various 2013 HTC One devices out there a while ago, and it seems that the company is getting ready for new updates for all these devices.

According to a post on llabtoofer.com, although it did not manage to update all of its HTC One, One Max, One Mini, and HTC One Dual-SIM handsets to the Android 4.4.2 platform as of now, the mobile phone maker is currently working on delivering the Sense 6.0 UI update to them.

In fact, said post also claims that the user interface enhancement will actually arrive on all of these smartphones earlier than previously expected and that HTC One will receive it sometime in May.

The rest of the 2013 HTC One devices are set to get a taste of the update in the next three or four months, which means that they might see it by the end of July. Moreover, the HTC Butterfly S smartphone is also set to receive the new firmware, it seems.

No official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, but it would not come as a surprise if things indeed turned out this way.

The Sense 6.0 UI should make an official debut on the All New HTC One (aka HTC One 2014), and the handset vendor might be very well planning the release of this upgrade to older handsets as well, the same as other companies out there would do. However, HTC might also change its plans in the near future, so expect that as well.
