Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is rumored to plan the release of the next flavor of Google’s Android operating system to its devices as soon as the fourth quarter of this year, although the OS is yet unofficial.

According to a recent post on technosamigos, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will arrive on a nice range of handsets, including the HTC One, HTC One X+ LTE, HTC One X, HTC Jewel, HTC One VX, HTC Valente, HTC Butterfly, HTC Desire HD, and HTC One XL.

Basically, all owners of flagship / high-end smartphones released in the past year and a half or so will benefit from the update. However, HTC One S and HTC Desire devices won’t be upgraded to the new platform release, it seems.

With no official announcement on the matter, we should take the info with a grain of salt, but keep an eye on this space for updates.
