Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation should bring to the market two new Android-based smartphones before the end of this year, new reports on the matter suggest.

One of these devices should be the previously rumored HTC One Max T6, which should land on shelves as a larger flavor of the HTC One, while the other is said to be HTC Zara.

According to a recent report from China Times, HTC is set to make the HTC One Max official before the end of the third quarter of the year, with a metal body.

As for HTC Zara, it should become official before the end of 2013, but will sport a plastic outer design, it seems. Most probably, it will also be priced lower.

As UnwiredView notes, the HTC Zara hasn’t emerged online before, and appears to be a completely new phone, though specific info on what it will have to offer to its users has yet to emerge.

In the meantime, we should note that the HTC One Max is expected to arrive on the market with a 5.9-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution.

Furthermore, the upcoming mobile phone is said to pack a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor inside, paired with 2GB of RAM, which means that it will be capable of delivering increased performance capabilities.

The smartphone will be powered by a 3200 mAh battery, while featuring two internal memory options, namely 32GB and 64GB.

At the same time, the HTC One Max is expected to arrive on the market with Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top right from the start.

None of the two handsets has been officially confirmed for the time being, but it might not be too long before HTC finally decides to formally announce them, so keep an eye on this space for additional details on the matter.
