Previously rumored as HTC Accord, the next generation HTC Windows Phone 8X is about to make its debut in the United States next month.

We know for sure that the smartphone will hit shelves at AT&T, so it's no surprise that the phone was recently spotted at FCC (Federal Communication Commission) with support for the carrier's LTE bands.

Codenamed PM23300, this particular model does not feature network support for other carriers such as Verizon or T-Mobile, so additional models might be announced in the near future.

HTC Windows Phone 8X is likely to compete with Nokia's new flagship smartphone, the Lumia 920 which will be exclusively available in the US via AT&T around the same time frame.

Nokia's high-end device will also be released in Canada through Rogers in November. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
