Set to arrive on the market on November 5, HTC Windows Phone 8X has been previously priced at around £400 ($645 / €495) outright.

However, it looks like the information is inaccurate and the smartphone will be priced lower than initially expected. The folks over at GSMArena have just been tipped on the HTC Windows Phone 8X pricing options at Three UK.

According to a Three UK internal document leaked online, the carrier will launch the HTC Windows Phone 8X for only £350 ($565 / €435) on PAYG (pay as you go).

Customers who cannot afford to pay this amount will be able to grab the smartphone for as low as £29 upon signing up for a two-year £30 monthly contract.

Nokia is expected to launch its Lumia 920 and 820 smartphones around the same timeframe, so it will be interesting to see how well the HTC device will fare against the Finnish company’s products.

HTC Windows Phone 8X comes equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

Although the smartphone lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion, users will have 16GB of internal memory at their disposal along with 7GB of free cloud storage via SkyDrive.

HTC’s Windows Phone 8 device also boasts an enhanced 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 2.1-megapixel front facing camera for video calls.

The smartphone sports a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 capacitive touchscreen display that supports 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.

In the same piece of news, HTC also plans to release the Windows Phone 8S device on November 15, but we don’t have any details on this one’s pricing options yet, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
