The smartphone is available for purchase for $300/€225 off contract

One of the cheapest Windows Phone 8 handsets available on the market, the HTC 8S has just made its debut at Mobilicity.

According to MobileSyrup, the Canadian carrier now sells the smartphone for only $300/€225 outright, which is in line with the price offered by other operators in the country. Check it out here.

HTC Windows Phone 8S sports a 4-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, an Adreno 305 GPU, 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32GB via mciroSD memory card. More details on the phone’s specs sheet are available here.
