One handset that seems set to bring a nice range of appealing features to the US market is the HTC Vigor, an Android mobile phone expected to arrive on shelves at Verizon Wireless in the near future as the HTC Rezound.

The smartphone was already spotted into the wild before, and has just made another appearance, this time in Verizon's device Management system.

Although no official confirmation on its existence has emerged until now, the handset is expected to be formally introduced soon.

Apparently, the fact that it will sport the name of Rezound when made available for purchase is almost certain.

Previous rumors on the matter suggested that it might also go under the name of Thunderbolt 2, or the Incredible HD, but none of these seems set to pan out.

The smartphone was seen once again as HTC Rezound at Verizon, as the leaked shot that emerged over at Droid-life shows, and it might not be too long before the wireless carrier makes an official announcement on it.

The upcoming device was long rumored to be set to land on shelves with appealing features, including a large, 4.5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver an HD resolution, or a fast dual-core application processor.

One other appealing feature that it should include would be support for the wireless carrier's 4G LTE network, in addition to packing global connectivity features.

Apparently, HTC might be set to make the new smartphone available as a competitor for some of Samsung's latest high-end devices, though the HD screen might not be as large as to compete with the Galaxy Note.

The Rezound name is also said to imply that Beats Audio will be inside the device once it arrive on shelves.

Rumor has it that Verizon might make the new device official as soon as October 20th, yet chances are that it would actually arrive a bit later, since the carrier will be caught up with the launch of Nexus Prime.
