HTC has fixed some of the issues plaguing the Nexus 9

The Nexus 9 hasn't been out long, but if you’re the owner of this tablet, you might be one of the unlucky users already seeing the new device being plagued by a lot of problems.

For example, more and more reports are coming in saying that Google’s new tablet suffers from a light bleed issue. On top of that, the device is plagued by annoying clicking sounds, which is not pretty especially when you’re considering we are dealing with a premium device here.

But that was not all. Apparently, some Nexus 9 units also suffer from manufacturing issues. To be more exact, users have discovered that select tablets have highly protruding volume and power buttons. This makes them hard to push and access, which ultimately leads to a lot of frustration from the part of consumers.

HTC's new Nexus 9 batches are better in every sense

Anyway, HTC, the manufacturer behind the Nexus 9, has been made aware of these complaints and it is attempting to fix things. So, the newest Nexus 9 tablet batch will take advantage of new volume and power buttons that are going to be easier to press.

One user on Reddit says he just received his Nexus 9 replacement for his unit that was badly affected by extreme light bleed and had buttons that were almost impossible to press.

However, the latter issue seems to have been resolved with this new model he received, so there’s no flexing on the back of the Nexus 9 and the buttons are a lot easier to push.

Furthermore, the user says the screen quality on the tablet is superior too, so we can assume HTC has been working on eradicating the light bleed issues too.

So if you were skittish about picking up the Nexus 9 for one of the reasons mentioned above, it appears the news is good and the new batches coming into retail will no longer suffer from the same malfunctions.

Nexus 9 spec round-up

This is pretty good news for those of you who have been craving a new Nexus tablet.
