Users of more HTC smartphones can now unlock the bootloaders inside their devices, the handset vendor has announced on Twitter.

Among the new mobile phones that can be unlocked, we can count the HTC Desire Z, DROID Incredible and a few more.

“We've added Bootloader Unlock support for the HTC Desire Z, ChaCha, Aria, DROID Incredible, Status, and T-Mobile G2 at http://www.htcdev.com,” the Taiwanese mobile phone maker said via its official Twitter account.

The company has started to unlock the bootloaders inside its Android mobile phones since last year, true to a promise it made to its users.

When unlocking their devices, users gain the option to load unofficial ROMs on them, so that they can get a taste of other features and capabilities that the stock operating system and pre-loaded software might not include.
