HTC Corporation announced that its new HTC Touch Pro2 flagship mobile phone was available for purchase in Hong Kong exclusively via SiS International Limited. The handset is meant to offer mobile users in Hong Kong both innovative simplicity and an intuitive interface coupled with a unique style. The HTC Touch Pro2, the company says, brings together function, form and cutting-edge technology so as to deliver a new mobile experience to business customers.

The mobile phone comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 and features improved integration between the operating system and the company's TouchFLO 3D user interface, so as to provide more consistency with the applications and menus on the platform. In addition, the device provides easy and intuitive navigation, offering quick access to contacts, email, messaging, photos, music and weather. At the same time, the interface is more finger-touch friendly, as the touch focus areas have been enlarged.

The specification list of the HTC Touch Pro2 shows a 3.6-inch widescreen WVGA adjustable tilt display, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a touch-sensitive zoom bar, gravity and ambient light sensors, as well as proximity sensors. Moreover, the handset also includes HTC’s new Straight Talk technology, which provides an integrated email, voice and speakerphone experience, asymmetric speakers and advanced noise suppression.

The HTC Touch Pro2 also features a new people-centric communication approach, delivering the individual conversation history of contacts on a single contact view, be it voice, text or email. The latest Push Internet technology included in the mobile phone enables faster downloads and rendering of Web pages. An improved battery life, together with expandable memory, offers more enhancements for business users.
